Details on Trailforks

The Cadillac Pathway mountain bike trail has found new life over the past decade thanks to the spirited leadership of Michele Andrews and the trail’s volunteers. Its growing popularity is also due to the Bear Claw Epic, a family-friendly mountain bike race that has become a mainstay of northern Michigan’s spring racing calendar.

Cadillac Pathway FAQs

IS THE CADILLAC PATHWAY THE SAME AS THE CADILLAC PATHWAY CROSS COUNTRY SKI TRAIL?

The "old" trail's current mileage is groomed for cross country skiing - approximately 15 miles of trail.  The new 5 miles of trail that starts and ends at the trailhead that was built in fall of 2021 is groomed for fat biking.  We also groom an additional 6 miles of trail on the west side of Seeley Rd that can be used only in the winter time for fat biking.

In total we have 15 miles of groomed xc skiing trails, 12 miles of groomed fat bike trail and new in 2022 we started grooming 2 one mile loops from trailhead for walkers and another 5 mile loop on the west side which can be accessed at 9907 E 13th St, Cadillac, MI 49601.

Winter grooming badge sales support these grooming efforts.
