Mountain Bike Group Rides in Traverse City and Beyond
Northern Michigan is home to several can't-miss mountain bike rides in Traverse City and Bellaire. These rides are hosted by local bike shops and typically include a "faster" option and a "speed of fun" pace as well. We've added a few notes on each one, but make sure you reach out to the host shop of any questions!

McLain Cycle and Fitness Ride
Every Monday at 6:30 from the VST lot. Ride ride starts in April and goes to around the end of October.
This ride is for all riding levels and is a no drop ride with a ride leader, and a sweeper.
There are many stops for regrouping. We usually ride the VST marked trail.

City Bike and Friends Weekly Rides
Rides take place every Monday at 6:30 from the VST spanning from May through September (no rides when hunting season starts in October). A mostly unmarked single track experience. Rides average 20 miles in length. Speed is 12.5 mph as an average. This ride is best matched for Sport class skill levels.
