Kalkaska Mountain Bike Trailhead Address

Address: 1706 W. Kalkaska Road
Kalkaska, Michigan, 49646
(Park’n’Ride Parking Lot)

Kalkaska’s growing collection of trails and improved signage are due largely thanks to the community’s spirited collection of riders. While known as the starting venue of the Iceman Cometh Challenge, Kalkaska’s trails are a spider web of interconnected singletrack, two-tracks, and gravel roads that are nearly endless in potential.

Most riders access the trails from the Park’n’Ride lot located on West Kalkaska Road. This is the most well-marked place to start from, and anyone who has ridden the Iceman will instantly recognize the twisting trails that lead past small lakes and bounce onto wider trails every few miles.

ARE THE KALKASKA TRAILS GROOMED IN WINTER?

Currently, the Kalkaska trails are not groomed by NMMBA. ‘
