Giving Tuesday: Support Trails, Community, And The Outdoors

Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity to pause and recognize the organizations you care about. There are so many non-profits doing big things in Traverse City and around Northern Michigan that we are all spoiled for choice in choosing a cause to support not only today but year-round. That's why we're especially grateful for the support of donors and members during this busy season when all our cherished causes take center stage.

We've had an incredible year already, and there's more to come before we say goodbye to 2017. This year, we saw NMMBA's role in course design for races like Mud, Sweat and Beers and Iceman Cometh change how events develop and impact our trails. We saw the first of many editions of the Traverse City Trails Festival this July. Trail proposals on the Cadillac Pathway, Vasa Singletrack, Echo Valley, Leelanau State Park and more are creating more recreational opportunities than ever before. Grants are helping to support new trails in Kalkaska, including a refreshed look at the TC to K trail, too!

This winter, we'll be grooming more miles of trail than ever before, as well as helping bring you another edition of the Vasa Fat Bike Race!

Today, we invite you to contribute to everything the future holds for mountain bikers in Northern Michigan by giving, but also by becoming members of NMMBA. Proceeds stay in state, and nearly all in our chapter, meaning local funds go to local trails.

Donate. Join. Connect. This Giving Tuesday is about all the things non-profits can do for you, and how we can all shape our community together.
